The 35th Michael Doherty Golf Tour to Majorca was won today by the Arklow rookie Sean Doyle plaiying off 15 on the challenging Santa Ponsa course.
With an all-time tour record score of 156 points, Doyle held off all challengers when he posted a stableford score of 34 points. Brian McClure (9) of the Ballynahinch club finished in second place with 151 points, one point ahead of both Tommy McBride (5) and Karl Doherty (16) of the from City of Derry club who amassed 150 points over the four days of the tournament.
