The Ladies played for Mr Captain's Prize this week and as expected we had a very good turnout with 47 ladies taking part. It was a day of two halves with the weather threatening to cancel the competition when the course had to be closed after lunch time for an hour. Thanks to Connor and his men for all the hard work they put in to have the course reopened. The weather improved significantly and this was reflected in the scoring when the very steady Esther Milligan had a great score of 40 pts to win by two shots and reduce her handicap by 1. Everyone at the Ladies Branch would like to thank Captain Terry Phillips for his generosity and wish him a very successful Captain's Day on Saturday.

Next Tuesday we will hold a Ball Sweep as the Summer Meeting is on at Portstewart. Entry to the Ball Sweep is via the computer time sheet.
Tuesday 15th July is the Kipling Cup Open and the computer time sheet is open for booking.
The draw sheet for Lady Captain's day on 25th July, and the menu is now on the board in the Ladies locker room.
