Despite very windy and wet conditions there was a good turnout and the scoring was very good.

The very steady Doreen Fleming survived Break of tie to win her first cup with the on form Pamela McConnell taking second position. The Results were 1st Doreen Fleming (18) with 73 on BOT, 2nd Pamela McConnell (28) also with 73 and in 3rd Betty Mc Bride (17) with 75, the nines went to Christine Mitchell with 38.5 on BOT and Orla Quigley 32.5. The CSS was 73 and the competition was qualifying.

 City of Derry Ladies’ teams have all been in action this week with Mail on Sunday Team winning on Saturday last in an away draw against Massereene. They meet Northwest Ladies in the next round. Menolly Homes Team won their second round draw against Killymoon on Monday of this week and will play Kilrea in the next round. The Intermediate Team play their return match against Carrickfergus on Thursday and the Senior Foursomes are travelling to Royal Belfast for their return match also on Thursday.
