Clive Brolly (12) winner of the society’s golfer of the year for the past two years set down his marker for this year with an impressive winning 37 point total in Sunday’s competition. George Simms (15) scored 36 points to take second place from Fred Young (7) on a tie break. Davy Jones (15) was fourth scoring 35 points beating Sammy Connor (18) on another tie break and Michael Carroll (16) took the final prize on 34 points.
