Ralph Hamilton (18) playing in his first ever Thursday Society competition got off to a great start by taking the first prize with a well compiled 42 points. Ralph only joined the club a few months ago and will be very pleased with his debut win at Prehen. His front nine of 22 points was the key to his success and another 20 on the back nine saw him safely home. In second place in close order was John Morrow (20) whose back nine gave him the decision on a tiebreak over John McGill (28), both players finishing on 41 points. The Society runs every week through to next April and entry is open to all members of the club.
