Ron Grieve (10) was best of the day in the weekly Thursday Society competition at Prehen compiling 29 points but needing a tiebreak to clinch the win. Second place went to Brian Stanford (13), an ugly double bogey six at the “Foyle” costing him outright victory and emulating Brian’s double bogey at the same hole was the clubs popular President Davy Hamilton (13) who thus had to be content with third place.
