Prehen’s Thursday Open suffered the
consequences of the present inclement spell of weather and only a few
hardy golfers braved the elements. The few who did venture out found the
course largely unaffected by the bad weather thanks mainly to the
efforts of the superb green keeping staff ably led by Conor McLaughlin.
The best golf of the day was played by sixteen-year-old Sean Morrison
(2) with a level par gross round of 71 giving him 38 stableford points
and a two shot-winning margin over Darren Kirk (10).
Darren is playing excellent golf at
the moment having won the Dunhugh Cup last week.
Visitors to Prehen can take advantage
of a meal and golf on Mondays (except Bank Holidays) for only £15.00.
