Bert Glackin (11) was best of the day
in the inaugural Angels Autism Charity Open held at Prehen on Saturday
scoring a very creditable 41 points and a one shot margin over Mark
McIvor (11). Bert’s round was the epitome of steadiness, dropping only
two shots in the first nine and just four on the home straight. Aaron
Taylor (3) picked up his second podium place in as many days, his 38
points gaining him third place on a tiebreak. Johnny Harding (1)
continues to dominate the low category once again winning the gross with
a level par 71. Les Renshaw (10) and Johnny Donnell (3) won the nines
with 22 points respectively. Vivienne Houston (9) was the best of the
ladies scoring 35 points |
