With the Prehen course in immaculate condition, the high scoring of Saturday continued on Sunday with Dermot Crossan (19) returning 41 points in the popular Walter Brady Classic to take the first prize. Dermott could afford the luxury of dropping no less than four shots over the last three holes and still win albeit by only one point from the holder Kevin Quigg (4) who had two twos in his round and just missed out on retaining his title. Young Sean Morrison (1) continued his inexorable progress to scratch status with the best gross of the day earning him the third nett prize on 39 points. Fourth nett went to John Flynn (14) on 38 points, his 24 points including three birdies on the back nine giving him the decision on a tie break. Jimmy McGee (12) from North West took home the visitor’s prize on 37 points.
