Brilliant Sunshine and superb course conditions ensured a very enjoyable day at Strabane Golf Club for the Thursday Society's close of season "away day". Golfer of the year Davy Godfrey took the honours with a very respectable 39 points. Terry Coyle playing of 5 returned an excellent 38 points to take second place ahead of Noel Kehoe who made sure that the Coyle brothers didn't hog the limelight with a 37 point card. Larry Coyle recorded 36 points to take fourth place. Jim Doherty and Aubrey Taylor shared the nines scoring 21 & 19 points respectively. Thanks to the catering staff at Strabane the day was rounded off with an excellent meal in the Clubhouse.
