City of Derry's club president David Hamilton (18) an ardent long time supporter of the club's Thursday Society was best of the day in the much sought after Harry Bryson Trophy at Prehen on Thursday. Equal halves of 20 points left him one clear of another Thursday faithful, John Woods (7) who had an impressive 21points on the back nine. Neil King (18) took the third prize with 38 points and a tie break. The front nine went to Jack Logue (13) with 18 points also on a tie break. Mr consistency, Alastair Crockett (14) had 22 points to take the second nine , once again a tie break deciding the issue. Members are reminded that Eddie Mitchell hosts his skippers day next Thursday the 19th and a big turnout is expected for the presentation of all the seasons prizes and vouchers
