*Break of tie |
Saturday’s competition
at City of Derry was for the Lee Hogg Bowl, traditionally one of the
keenest fought competitions of the year. At the end of the day the
huge entry was topped by John Rosborough(13) with 40 points. John
will regale the club later with tales of how things could have been
so much better but for an ugly blank at The Widows. But his back
nine was still strong enough to beat off Keith Hughes(9) who bested
Martin McCormick the same way with both finishing on 40 points. The
gross prize with a credible 72 was taken by Jayson McIntyre. The
front 9 went to Sammy Holmes with 24 points and Allen Heaney took
the Back nine with 22 points.
