Tom McGowan (12) made a welcome return to the winner’s rostrum in Saturday’s monthly medal at Prehen. He went round the course in a nett 66, just one point clear of runner up Raymond Taylor (10) who took the second spot on a tiebreak from Sean Quigg (2). Sean had the best gross of the day; his 69 shots included no less than six birdies and an eagle. Fourth place went to Rob Jefferson (12) who had a steady 69 nett.
