Ralph Hamilton (17) continues to make a big impression in Prehen’s Thursday Society, his latest success coming off a very creditable 43 points that earned him first place for the weekly competition and also giving him a clear lead in the Societies golfer of the year race. Ralph will surely be getting a call from the handicap convenor sooner rather than later. Michael Carroll (18) scored 40 points to take second place but only on a tiebreak from the in form Martin McCormick (12).
