Martin Doherty (18) just can’t stop winning at Prehen. A sensational 40 points over just 16 holes gave him his third win at the venue in as many weeks when playing in this week’s Sunday Society. His winning total was three points clear of a quartet battling out for the next four places, Eddie McMenamin (11), new club treasurer Michael McCullough (11), Rob Jefferson (10) and Saturday’s winner Fred Young (6) finishing in that order respectively. The sixth and final prize was taken by last Sunday’s winner Brian McMacken (13) on 36 points.
