Martin Doherty (18) added a Thursday society win to his very recent Sunday society victory compiling an excellent 36 points over the 16-hole layout. Martin blanked the first and the tenth making his performance all the more remarkable. Ralph Hamilton (18) renewed his acquaintance with the winner’s enclosure by taking second place on a tiebreak from a resurgent John Woods (9), both players scoring 35 points.
