John Love (7) well known accountant did his sums perfectly at Prehen on Saturday to take first place in the prestigious Michael Doherty sponsored professional’s prize with a huge 44 point total. John went round the tough Prehen layout in a one under par gross 70, and scoring no less than 24 of his points on the back nine. In second place was Colum Murphy (11), like the winner a former club captain scoring a fine 41 points. Aaron Taylor (3) took the third spot on a tie breaking 40 points with a whopping 24 points of them coming from his superb 31 gross on the back nine.
