Alistair Crockett (15) finally won his Christmas turkey at Prehen on Saturday after several near misses. Playing in category one (0-15) he accumulated 27 points over the 12 holes, leaving him one point clear of Graham Hepburn (4) who took home a consolation bottle of spirits. In the higher category (16-18) it was Gerry (M) Gormley (16) who scored 25 points for his turkey with Ricky Porter (16) taking the runner up spot on a break of tie 24 points. No doubt Ricky will be pondering over his three double bogeys in the last five holes.
