Vincent Hegarty (17) took home the Christmas Hamper at Prehen on Saturday scoring a remarkable 27 points over the 10 holes played. Reputed world record holder (10 s/ford points for two holes) Michael Carroll (19) finished in second place with 26 points. The evergreen Ken McClintock (16) was third with 24 points which included a vital two at the Quarry. Rodney Smyth (17) also had a birdie at the Quarry to be fourth , heading Vincent Boyle (23) on a tie break both players returning 23 points.

Note: Turkey and spirits competitions are played in categories determined roughly by how many are in each division. Its not written in stone but we try to have a balance so that the same numbers are competing in each class.
