CSS 70 *Break of tie
Iain Anthony (5) had a remarkable 43 points to take first place in the prestigious Terry Bell salver at Prehen on Saturday in what can only be described as not perfect conditions. Undaunted Iain, an early starter scored 22 points on the front nine and 21 on the back nine for a two under par gross total. In second place for the second competition in a row was Raymond Mcnutt (19) with his second 42 points on the bounce. General play conditions will surely reign now. Newly joined Colin McKeever (15) entered the prize winners enclosure for the first time at Prehen taking third place with 41 points on a tiebreak. Ruaidhri McGee (1) continued his fine run of form to take the gross points with 37 gross points |
