Vinny O Callaghan (22) took the top spot in the senior cup at Prehen on Saturday, his 43 points leaving him one clear of second placed Eddie Mitchell (12). Former golfer of the year Sam Holmes (12) finished in third place with 41 points.

A tie-break was needed to separate the first two players in the junior category, Stephen Toland (15) and Tommy McBride both returning 43 points with Stephen getting the verdict on a count back thanks to his fine 24 points on the home stretch. John Chambers (15) took the third spot on 40 points.
