*Break of tie

Keith Stott (12) just managed to clinch first place in Saturday’s stableford at Prehen thanks to a better last six holes than runner up Jimmy Mohan (12), both players recording an impressive 41 points. Third place went to Prehen’s immediate past president Brian Mulgrew (19) who looked to have victory clearly in his grasp standing on the last tee with 40 points only to record a blank, his only consolation being the 22 points on the back nine which gave him the prize on a tie break. Best gross on the day went to Tommy McBride (5) with a two over par 73 and 39 points.
