*Break of tie
Joe Rutherford (20) made a welcome return to the winner’s enclosure at Prehen on Thursday after a fairly long absence. His fine 41 points , 23 of them coming on the back nine was enough to take the top spot albeit on a tie break from rising young star Sean Morrison (2). Sean had a remarkable 68 gross only dropping one shot to par at the stroke index one hole “Aintree”.
Keith Stott (12) had 39 points for a third place finish and Aaron Taylor (3) took the extra nett prize with 38 points. Best of the visitors was the Portsalon member, Gerry Kindlon (17) on 34 points.
