Prehen Course Is The Talk Of The Town
City of Derry has just finished hosting their annual Open Week and the one topic from members and the numerous visitors has been the condition of the golf course. “The best condition ever” “ Augusta of the North West”. Just some of the comments that have been made and well justified they are too. Conor McLaughlin, Prehen’s head green keeper and his hard working staff are the people responsible. At the final prize giving for Open Week club captain Terry Phillips was generous in his praise for the work done. And of course it’s not only the members who benefit from this situation. Prehen will host no less than 33 Open competitions between now and the middle of September and with online booking now available, visitors just need to click on Opens and follow the on screen prompts.
