Twenty two past captains and presidents along with the present incumbent Brian Abel met at the club on Wednesday 28th June for tea and biscuits before playing a 13 hole competition. Best of the day was event organiser and immediate past captain Andy Meenagh (12) who amassed a very impressive 29 points. He was followed home by the coming centenary captain Ciaran Burke (9) on 28 points, a single point ahead of last years runner up Eddie Leonard (17) and  our youngest past captain Brian Long (6) finished in fourth place on 26 points. Edgar Walker (26) took the front nine on 18 points and our current captain was best over the last four holes with 11 points. The winners were presented with their prizes after a superb meal in the Icon Restaurant by the oldest past captain of the club Bobby Bell now well into his 95th year.
